The Prince Albert (PA) is the widest known men’s private parts piercing. The term originates from a story saying that, just as other men of his time, Queen Victoria’s spouse had a ‘dressing ring’ in the tip of his phallus which was tied to his leg in order to avoid the displeasing protruding in his modish, closely fit pants. The genuineness of the legend still remains open to dispute. The genital piercing comprises a ring or a round-shaped barbell that is pierced through the tip of the urethra and through the underside of the phallus where the glans is linked to the shaft. Frightening as it may sound, in reality the piercing is not hard to endure and heals up fast as the pierced tissue is extremely fine (although quite solid).
